Everyone Is Getting Super Emotional About Adele’s New Album, Especially Adele

Today, the internet became one raging emotional boner for Adele’s comeback LP, and Adele herself was at the foreskin forefront.

The soul diva published a heartfelt open letter via Twitter, confirming that the follow-up to her smash 2011 album 21 would be entitled 25 – her age at the time of recording – and would, in its essence, be a “make-up record”:

At the time of writing, the post has been retweeted over 40,000 times and favourited over 50,000 times on Twitter, with almost 500,000 likes and around 70,500 shares on Facebook.

And that’s not all. Such is the girth of the internet’s emotional love wand that cyber LOL-hub Funny Or Die has even created a video tribute, demonstrating the immense power that Adele now wields upon the daily lives of most humans.

Check that out below.

Meanwhile, the whole thing comes just days after a 30-second commercial – apparently containing new Adele music – aired without warning or explanation during an episode of UK’s The X Factor.

Adele’s new album, 25, is expected to drop in November. BBC Radio 1 will premiere its first track on Friday, October 30th.

Please internet, try to contain yourselves until then.
